Dream imagery?

Does anybody know anything about dream imagery? I've been having bizarre and vivid dreams lately, and I am getting a bit freaked out by them. Last night I dreamed that my teeth turned black and fell out, and they hurt terribly.

What's going on in my head that I can't sleep without inventing terrible things for myself?

dreams are our sub consious mind trying to solve a problem that our consious mind can't. Go over the problems you might be having and then think about any symbolism you picked up in your dreams. Eventually you should make a connection. I highly doubt that they are preminatory dreams unless you just have absolutly horrible teeth haha. But seriously I would think about the dreams the way Nykki describes her tarot cards. The details about the card give so underlying information to the reading. You dreams are the same way. Think about anything you noticed and try to figure out the symbolisim. That's all I got. Hope it helps :)

Dreams are sometimes easy to interpret or tough the one thing you must remember is it is not a literal thing like for example if you see yourself die in a dream it could represent change in your life. Your subcontious mind has a way of showing us things we don't think of in the here and now if that makes sence.
