I have read you can make a scrying mirror with a picture frame and paint, but spray paint is a must? I have a frame and acrylic paint, would that work okay too?
Thanks

I would think that putting on acrylic paint with a brush would work just fine. Do it the same way, putting on a thin layer as evenly as possible, letting dry and repeating, until you can't see any light through the glass when you hold it up to the light.

I have a scrying mirror I made with spray paint. It's pretty. :)
I hope you have fun and get lots of use out of your mirror!

I'm no help with scrying. I use my cauldron filled with water on a full moon for scrying. That's it... Mab

I made a black scrying mirror just like you said: spray paint and a picture frame. The reason for spray paint is because it won't leave brush strokes behind, since you want a clean and clear surface to focus on.
Although personally I've found that flaws are easier to focus and meditate on. Instead of my clear crystal ball i've been working with this multi-colored multi-flawed orb i picked up at a gift shop for a slate mine i visited. Still haven't had any real results but it is easier for me to concentrate on.
