The lunar phase is important in determining the best times for magic.

The Waxing Moon: (from New Moon to the Full Moon) is the ideal time for magic to draw things toward you.

The Full Moon: is the time of greatest power.

The Waning Moon: (from the Full Moon to the New Moon) is a time for study, meditation, and little magickal work (except designed to banish harmful energies).

This is great to know. Growing up around 'fairy tales' I thought that the full moon thing was just a myth. *smiles* I need to look into that, now don't I. Of course I take your typed word for it Ariel, for you seem extremely educated on the subject. *smiles and nods* The Waning Moon is my favorite time in the cycle because it always seems to bring me luck. *shrugs*

i used to know them a couple of years ago, but i took more time recently on political stuff, now i'm getting back into my wiccan spirituality and i need someone to talk to.
