I just wanted to know what everyone knows about this mystical world beyond the mists. When I think of fairies and the land of the Fae I instantly think of "The Mists of Avalon" and how Morgaine gets trapped by the Queen of the Fairies and loses touch with the outer world. Also I think of the Old People described in the book and wonder if this could be the things people call "shadow people". I was wondering if anyone has heard or seen anything to confirm these beliefs or perhaps believes there are other explantions of these creatures. Thanks and BB to ALL!

I don't know much about the fae. I only stared learning some things through research since you began posting about them! Here's the latest find. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1006050812816

I don't get it... so leprachauns and trolls are all in the category of fae?

I was reading in "Faeries" the magazine and in an article this guy went to Ireland and apparently the Irish still hold the faerie world with the highest regard. I thought it was way cool that the Irish have areas of land that are regarded as sacred to the fae and are pretty much off-limits to humans. They are so highly regarded that they don't speak of the fae much but when they do they speak only of them in positive ways or the call them "the good people" and other such terms. It is a very cool article! As is the magazine of course! Just wanted to share this with everyone:)
