As I cry, I need to ask a question.
Why are Christians so mean?
Every "Christian" that has past though my life or is curently clogging it up (except for my fiance) is a heartless monster. The ones who are nice to me are hypicritical in their beleifs. If Jesus Christ was such a peace maker, why arn't his followers? WHY?? Why have I been persercuted when I have done nothing wrong? I have not told these.............people that I even studying Wicca yet. Oh that will be fun! All these so called rightous jerks have proven is their Book, the "GOOD" book, is a lie.
Has any one else been mentaly beaten along their path?
Am I alone in this realm of shit?
Maybe I should blow them off and practice shilding. Better to be numb the to be hurt. :violin:

I don't know what that's all about, but yes I experience it all the time. Especially from my mom. What boggles me the most is that when I ask her, "oh why do you celebrate this or that" she doesn't know herself! Hmmm... most of the people that I know are Xtians, and all of them don't know much about the religion. I think with such major religions, most of the faith is passed down from the parents. For example I know some Muslims and Jews and they are pretty much the same, very limited to what they know about what they believe. Honestly I don't know what the defense is all about, but why defend something that you don't really know much about? The answer that I get the most when I ask why you believe in something is either: "Because that's the way it is, or That's what I was taught to believe." Don't let them get ya down, and if you don't want to get into heated debates (which with religion is always pointless) I say don't even tell them what you believe. And yes shield for sure! If you do it right, you won't be numb. You can create filters, but like you said it takes practice.

Maybe it's a power issue, fear of the unknown, or fear of being wrong... who knows. Maybe one day it will be different.

Most of the people I know are either Baptist or Church of Christ. I think they're all nuts! Oh well.
I just gotta chill out and remember that yes, indeed, they ARE crazy. I would like to practice Sheilding but I don't know much about it. Do you?
