Merry meet, everyone!! Just love growing herbs and using them in healing and a little bit of magic and was wondering if there was anyone else on here who loves herbs, too. If so, what do you use them for? Sometimes I just love to sit in my herb garden and smell all of the different smells! yummy! I like to think that the faeries like my garden, as well, even though I have never seen one. :ylflower:

Bleu, I'd love to have an herb/vegetable garden, but we live in a condo and it's not allowed unless you keep them in flower pots :violin:. It's bitter sweet, because we live on the ground level, so we planted some shrubs, dandelions, lilies, petunias, lavender, azaleas. We covered the dirt with pretty red mulch and lined the areas (one in front of all our windows, and one bigger section off the side of the patio) with white and natural rocks. It looked so pretty, for about 2 weeks. And then it all went to hell! We forgot to water here and there, flowers withered and died. Luckily the bushes are ok. We are total black thumbs! Hubby had planted 3 flower pots (that was our veggie garden lol), one with tomatoes, one with chives, and one with sunflowers. They were growing and then nope we killed em! :banghead: So now we finally got into the routine of watering everyday. A bunch of dead flowers later, I still don't really know how garden. It's still kinda nice, but it's beginning to look really sorry! I'll have to read up on gardening, would love to have tons of flowers!
Glad you brought this up, maybe you can offer some green thumb advice!
What kind of herbs are you growing?

I have always grown rosemary....it's pretty easy to grow, smells yummy and has so many different uses. I also grow chamomile, lavendar, stevia, thyme, echinacea, mint (corsican and chocolate), oregano, lemon balm, basil, and I grow Johnny Jump Ups (not an herb), but they are wonderful and very beautiful in a salad. I also love flowers....we have roses, gardenias, sunflowers, hibiscus, butterfly bushes, black eyed susans, nasturtiums and bee balm (which are both also edible ). I'm sure there are more that I am missing! I have taken some lovely pics (another hobby of mine)! I love plants......did you talk to yours? They love TLC!!! :hippy:

OMG!!!! I love them! I was always interested in photography, but have just started in the last six months taking pics. Do you develop them yourself? I am not that advanced, but I do have a printer that can hook directly up to my digital that I love very much. I am amazed at the clarity of some of the pics...it's almost like they are better than the real thing, ya know?!

Aw you're too kind :p
Shoot some of those were taken with my digi and the others with my fav camera so far, the Nikon N50. I don't really know jack about photography, and I don't develop my own yet. One day, I would like to really concentrate on the whole photog thing, but for now it's more hobby. I get really nuts about it when we go on vacation though, forget about it, that's all I do the whole time we're there lol!

To Attract Customers to a Business
Make a fine powder out of basil leaves and sprinkle around the main entrance of your business
:pancakebunny:
A Witch's Bottle
Rosemary
Red Wine
Pins
Needles
Fill a small jar with the rosemary, pins and needles saying all the while the following as you do it:
"Pins needles, rosemary and wine
In the Witch's Bottle of mine;
Guard against harm and enemies
This is my will, so be it!"
When the jar is full pour in the red wine. Put the lid on the jar as tight as possible, Drip wax from a red candle around the seal of the lid.
Bury the jar at the farthest corner of your property or place it in an inconspicuous spot in the house.
The Witch's Bottle destroys negativity and evil. The pins and needles impale evil, the wine drowns it and the rosemary sends it far from your home.
