How are your helping the environment?

I just wanted to see how everyone here is helping the environment and all that jazz. For one thing, we recycle cans. Thats about all my parents do but I try to save paper buy using recycled sheets from school. There are a few other things but what do the rest of you do.

Good question! I too recycle. There isn't a program here at my complex, so I'm working to get that established so that everyone that lives here can recycle. Now I just take all my recyclables to my parents house and toss it in their bin, lol. I also use natural cleaners to clean my house. For example, I make my own solution of vinegar and water. I use natural detergent and dish liquid (at least the company says they're natural) so it'll have to do until I can make my own. And I take care of all the trees in my courtyard while I'm gardening, because no one around here seems to be able to do it. That's all I can think of for now. :ylflower:

And of course recycling, Silver I do the same with the natural cleaners, so much nicer. Oh and try to waste less water by turning it off while brushing teeth, shaving...
