hello there everybody, i apologize for my long absence, i went through a period of intense writers block, and to add insult to injury, my keyboard was broken days before my writers block crumbled, but i do have good news. i have acquired a new keyboard and will resume posting whatever spews forth of my minds padded room. well today i have a little something for you, i hope you enjoy it.

Its a damn good day when you can have a full stomach

..... thats a phrase my grandfather once told me, and i agree. well we all know that our economy is going through some pretty tough times, its just one of those facts that you cannot dispute, but there are still these kids in my school who think their lives are so terrible because their parents cannot afford to buy them some fancy car or some excessively expensive trinket anymore. I really wish that the cold mistress we call reality would come prancing along and give these eighteen year old CHILDREN a good slap across the face. but knowing how things usually turn out, their gonna probably end up going to some collage, having mommy and daddy work overtime to pay their tab; then get a great job as soon as they get out because they put on their most sycophantic act on. then end up repeating the cycle with their children. while those of us who aren't as fortunate will have to claw our way up the steep slopes of Mt.Success, it really does disgust me that i am a little jealous; but there is a thought that always puts a smile on my face when i look at these kids:

"When it comes time for me to leave this body for the next life, i will leave knowing i lived my life with dignity and honor."

i guess carma will catch up to these kids, or at least the bad ones.

well that is all for now, i cannot really think of anything else at the moment so i will bid you adeu

Wow, very well said. These exact thoughts are always going through my head, as well, but I couldn't have said it better myself. When I start speaking on the topic of today's youth, I tend to go a little overboard. I can be a little over-opinionated about some things and end up pissing people off. Good job sticking to the point and ending it there. I love the way you write, by the way; it's like speaking in person.

thank you lotus, the hardest part of writing these little snippets is translating them from the the thoughts that are bouncing around my mind and into words that are at least semicoherent. but its good to know there are people out there who enjoy my writing

I completely understand your difficulty. I love nothing more, though, than to sit and ponder on how best to turn a phrase. There are so many endless ways to say one thing. This is what I love MOST about the english language.

I do love your writings, please don't stop.
