Believe this is the right area for this.

Whats your opinon/s on this and etc.

I'm torn on all of this still.

This is my story with the flu shot now.

As for me have only gotten it twice in my lifetime so far and haven't had ill affects has of yet. 1st time I felt I needed it because the yr before I was at school. Pretty much everyone got it and wanted to be included at the time. Of course they needed permission from my parent/s or doctor, can't remember which one. This past yr I had to get it because I had bronchitis, last feb. Was on antibiotics and some kind of syrup for it. After that had some GERD (Gastric Reflux) from everything. Was put on medication for that which is working. Believe thats it for now.

By the way my fraternal twin sister had the shot last yr and manage to get it after the season was over. This yr she didn't get it because her experience last yr.

I don't know if I've ever had a flu shot - if I did it was too long ago for me to remember. I get flu almost every year, so I'm used to it by now.

With all this talk of Swine Flu, Bird Flu and Man Flu, am I the only one who misses people complaining about regular flu?

well, i beleive that the swine flue, much like SARS, and other illnesses that were thought likly candidates for the next pandemic is just the bug of the month, next month they will come out with some new superbug, who knows if any of em they come out with will live up to the hype, i certainly hope not, that would be most unpleasant .... kinda like getting sharked after you just took a dump in your pants ....

It seems as though the swine flu thing is being taken too far. From what I've been reading on it, they are now asking all hospitals to report every strain of flu as the H1N1 strain, whether it is or not.

The H1N1 swine flu is for the most part, milder than the regular seasonal flu.

I have never had a flu shot, and dont ever intend to get one. Who knows what kind of chemicals and additives are in the vaccines?
Obviously, if one is immuno-compromised a flu shot would not be a bad idea. But I would much rather let my body and immune system do their work naturally.
