Invoking the Spirt

alright. iv been studying wicca for alittle over 2 mouths now. and i was thinking. i might try invoking the spirt or "drawing down the moon" this mouth on the full moon. anyone have any pointers? anything i should watch out for? just message me. or reply

well i have been doing this for only 3 years so i have only a few pointers
1 open your circle you can use some extra personal words
2 before you do anything (like the day before) think on what you want to accomplish
3 remeber the wiccan rede and if anything in #2 violates it omit that part

after that do what you would normaly do, you can find a format to help you do it and it is up to you if you want to add or not.

I think this subject is one to tread on carefully...after only 2 months I think it is maybe a little early (if u do need to do this at all) to be doing this. but whatever you decide to do, good luck. im afraid thats all the advice i have on this subject x

Why invoke the spirit? To tell you the truth the only other place I heard this phrase was in the movie "The Craft."

Oh I see! Well, have you any experience casting circles? How's your visualization? You can try, I don't see any harm in that, but I don't think it will work unless you're really able to tap into that energy.

well. i suppose this is my practice run. like. im working on casting circles. i cant do it this mouth anyway. i just found out that i have to go out this weekend. =[ so. ill be trying this next mouth. Wish me luck ;D
