i was reading things on the web last night and got to thinking that i had several questions with how i practice my Rites and Rituals. So i think some more about me and my familar P'tah first would help before i start my questions.
i have been following a Druidtic path. to me all animals as well people are connected. i find this is true for me and my cat P'tah, since we seem to be able to talk and understand each other with out saying a sound. And i have and believe that P'tah and i can and have changed places in our medations.

As for me i have found that my goddess is Bast which is not a surprise to me, and my god is i think Pan, as he is the one i have be drawn to the past 6 months. I have been casting my circles and i have learned to do it very well, however i have been doing it with both me and P'tah inside, is this wrong? I feel he should be there he is my familar after all, and i have never had him pass through the circle till we have finished what we start. I have never felt that my god/goddess seem upset by this.

I have found in medations that i have had to "feel" my element and what i have gotten many times is a hot wind around me so i have to believe
my element(s) are fire and air. My animal is the raven. colors: Gold, Green and red

so on to my questions:
1. Have you ever cast a circle with your familar inside?

2.Is it right/proper to have him there?

3. Is it true that you can have more then one element?

4. If you only have one element what other way can i find out what it is?

5. I made a alter using the colors that i have seen when i close my eyes and think of my god/goddess, have you ever done something like this?

Mystic,

That's awesome that you found your god/dess and elements and are feeling confident in your circle castings! To answer your questions, I think what's a little difficult to remember when starting out on any Pagan path, especially after following stricter religions, is that there really are no right or wrongs. Of course following in context with harm none. Your familiar being a part of your circle is exactly what having a familiar is all about! Yes, you can have more than one element and going about finding which ones is pretty much the way you've been going about it in the first place. You can always meditate on more. Incorporating all the elements is also a good thing, in my opinion, because it creates balance. It sounds like you've got a great handle on how to go about finding what works for you. Don't second guess yourself, it is a spiritual path after all! :ylflower:

thank you silver, i just was not to sure. he seems to get/belong in the circle and loves being involved. i practice alone right now and was thinking about seeing if there was a group near where i live that i could join, but that means i more then likely would not be able to bring him with me.:(
