ok i just have to rant about this

I am not really that mad, but a little depressed with anger if you understand here is what happened: I live in a part of town that does not have many wiccan people but there are a few, so along come door to door jahovia witnesses telling us that we are wrong to follow our path(s). We were not bothering them so why did they have to come bother us? And they were not even nice about it, so I asked a few questions that I myself have been yelled at or shunned for asking in church when I did have to go. (Long time ago) I asked nicely if they would answer some questions I had, they said yes and here is my questions:
1. (here is why I do not believe Christianity) How can you ask Jesus to save you if you do not know that he even existed?? Most would say that everyone knows he lived, but that is not true if you really think about it.
my example: A native American male living at the times of the "middle ages" which is before the discovery of the new world would not know that Jesus ever existed so when he died would he go to hell??? Since they believe that you must know the son of god to go to heaven that he is the "only" way.
2. If he had his own belief or no belief at all he would he still go to hell???
3. If the answer to 1 and 2 is no, then is not the line heard so much: "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the father but through me" would then be false since this person would not have known him.
4. If the answer(s) is yes and he does go to hell only brings up another good question: How could he prevent going to hell, if the person that he needs to know not to go to hell, he knows nothing about? Does this seem fair??? So is it the mans' fault that he is born somewhere that does not have someone that knows Jesus??
Another big point that I have gotten bad looks from when I was younger and had to go to church(before I was 17, I am now 24) is this: the church considers incest to be a sin and for many other reasons it is wrong so how do you get a bloodline or family from only 2 people??? Never does it say that Adam and Eve are related, but even if they were not their children would be. Plus never does it say they have a dauter but even if they did not there is only one female among them and 2 are her sons. So here is the question:
1. How can God make them or want them to sin on purpose when he told them to “go forth and multiply” with only two unrelated people?
Or
Did they leave out that god made more then just Adam and Eve??
Never the less this question got me kicked out of the church, they said please do not come back. Ok I am done, and I hope you understand now why I can not follow Christianity

roflmao, that was a good read, it has some very good points, the incest one i was actually discussing with a fellow coworker of mine last night at work, we all have interesting conversations at work, a site i read states that adam and eve lived for ~800 years, during this time they had lots and lots and lots of children that didnt show up in the bible (i dont have proof of these children nor does the site, but keep in mind eve was born from the rib of adam which makes her his sister and him her brother) according to the bible civilization was born from adam and eve in terms that we are all related. based on statistical knowlege of pregnancy a woman is capable of haveing an average of 1.3 children per year based on our knowlege that would state that eve gave birth to approx 1040 children, having stated that i am sure there was lots of daughters, in the bible it also states that cain had a wife, where would he get this wife of his from if eve didnt have any daughters? to conclude this, the christian god condones incest, if my memory serves me correct from high school (i went to a lutheran bible school) the book of genesis also states that abel got jealous of this and killed his brother cain... would that imply that the christian god also condones murder and jealousy? 2 things that are stated as sins

well i understand that they are doing what they are told to do and that is not what made me mad, but how they go about doing it.

i have many friends that are Jahovia Witnesses and they are good friends, i just don't agree about that part of their belief.

so as far a you think what do you think would be the answers??? and how they would explane it? they would not answer my questions so i guess i will never know, plus they have not been back since.

i would love to know more about diff. faiths since i would like to she how they differ and how they are the same.
i have been on my path for just under 3 years now i think but have been researching it for almost 7-8 years since i was about 16-17 so i know bit here and there.

well, i am wiccan, been wiccan for approx. 7 years, but i grew up in a lutheran household although my parents never went to church, what i find interesting about the book based religions is how they all state that the other religions warship false gods, as far as i am concerned all monotheistic religions like warship the same god but with a different name, Jehovah is the true name of the christian god, but of course, christians and lutherans refuse to admit it, they just state that their god has no name and is the only god etc. etc. as for the polythiestic religions again they all warship the same gods but with different names... at the moment i am a little too busy to pull out a book containing the different pantheons to give evidence because i am getting ready for work.
