That would really depend on the type of curse and its not an easy question to answer without any info.

Generally, I would use dowsing to find out if someone is cursed and then would use various methods to get rid of it depending on what my dowsing finds out.

Well, a pendulum for dowsing can be fashioned from anything with a bit of weight that you can hang on a string/thread/chain, so you can usually make one easily.

Getting rid of a curse is not likely something that a beginner could do, so if there is one, I'd suggest the person find someone more experienced to sort it out.

Stuart, it seems from your intro post that you are new to all of this, so if this curse (if there is one) is something you are thinking of dealing with yourself, I'd advise against it. You certainly don't seem experienced enough and might just make matters a lot worse....

Find someone who can help you do it, but research the person/people carefully. I'm very skeptical of those that charge huge sums of money to do this work. If you look around, you will find those that will help free of charge or for a minimal fee, just because they want to help others.

I'd suggest you start by checking out the pagan/wiccan/shamanic groups in your area and see if you can find someone there, but be careful and find out about the groups first, some are not what they seem.

The individaul supposedly touched a rock the was rumored by indian legend to be cursed. And he does seem to have more bad luck than the usual bear. Also, we are in an area that does not have any wiccan covens. and we're a long ways from the united states.

Hmmmm, under the circumstances, I think this is more likely to do with power of suggestion.... The person concerned thinks they are cursed because of touching the stone, therefore expects bad luck and by expecting it, brings it into his life.

I suggest doing a cleansing on the person, using either (white)sage or frankincense incense, maybe even a cleansing of their house.

If it makes you feel better, I dowsed on this and the person is NOT cursed.
