Have you ever been to a haunted place?
There's this cemetary about 20 minutes away from me. It's on this really long dark windy road. And I mean this freakin road is long, full of just farmland and houses. The road itself is said to be haunted. People say they've seen white outlined figures of little girls or boys. Right in the middle, there is a cemetary off to the side. It's very small and has a black iron gate encircling it, though it has no door. The graves there are really old, can't tell you exactly what years, don't remember. I have never seen anything, but I sure liked going out there. Made you feel a little spunky, and after all it does say no trespassing. Talk about living on the edge! ![]()

A few. My grandmother visits us on occasion, and my step father's father often visits. We sometimes smell pipesmoke, which is a dead giveaway that a friend of the family, Mr. Bill, is visiting.
Also, my xstep fathers house is built on an indian burial ground and battle site, you can sometimes here them fighting.

I've been to many supposedly haunted places, such as the Waverly House, the Amityville house (but was too chicken to get out of the car), etc., etc., etc. However, I have not had one paranormal experience.
The closest I came across was some photos inside the Stanley Hotel that might be orbs. |

I have never toured a haunted place, although I would love to visit the Stanley Hotel and Waverly Hills sometime. I did, however, live in a house growing up that did have ghosts....and the stories I could tell!

I use to babysit in a haunted police station. I wasn't told so my first encounter was very scary. I heard footsteps coming down the hall and thought the kid was up and coming to get me for something. I heard the steps come in the room walk behind me down to the kitchen and out the back door. I got up and raced outside but the door was shut and locked. I then checked the kids all in bed asleep. I spent the rest of the night on tenderhooks as I heard the steps every 2 hours until the cop and his wife came home.
Turns out that the place is haunted by a policement who died in the line of duty. Part of the routine if anyone is in the cells is to check them regularly. Hence the 2 hourly footsteps coming through the house out the back to the cells checking people in them. Although the cells are no longer used he continues to check his prisoners. After that night I also said hello as he walked passed. I never saw him or heard him speak but his footsteps still wander past. RIP constable you have done your duty well.
